Jorgie Porter has revealed the unique name of her second child with fiancé Oliver Piotrowski. The former Hollyoaks star, 36, welcomed her baby daughter Peony on December 10 at 10.40 am. In a new interview, Jorgie, who is also mum two-year-old son, Forest, and co-parents Alfie, her fiancé Oliver’s 10-year-old son, spoke about her labour experience.
The soap star revealed that Peony was delivered via a planned caesarean section, weighing in at an impressive 8lbs 14oz. Reflecting on her decision to opt for another C-section, Jorgie told OK! Magazine: 'When the nurses pulled her out, I thought, 'Thank God I chose a section because there's no way I'd have had her naturally.'.
Both Jorgie and her daughter were discharged a day later and able to go home. When asked about the inspiration behind her unique name, Jorgie shared: 'We'd not heard of anyone with the name Peony and I love the flowers, they're so beautiful,' she beams. 'But we were literally desperate to tell people her name before someone else had a baby and chose it before us! We didn't give her a middle name because she's Peony Porter Piotrowski which is already quite a lot for a kid to say, isn't it?'.
