Summary at a Glance

Padley has been a professional boxer for just six years now and with a record of 15 wins and zero losses he now takes a huge step in his career as he takes on Shakur Stevenson for the WBC World Lightweight title.

JOSH PADLEY has admitted he is ready to give up his day job after fighting lightweight world champion Shakur Stevenson.

Before his most recent fight, Padley was seen fighting on small fight events against much lesser-known boxers, forcing the electrician to keep his part-time job for the much-needed income.

He had even been working on a construction site on the Tuesday morning before he got the call to see if he could fight Stevenson.

His last fight held at Wembley Stadium truly put him on the map with a huge upset after beating Turki Alalshikh's favourite fighter, Mark Chamberlain.
