As part of the new app update, the take-away hub will be asking shoppers to provide photo ID when purchasing certain items.
"Once the courier has arrived, you will confirm you are of legal age with photo ID, and your birth date will be recorded in order to complete the delivery.
Just Eat sales chief Guido Famback said the move was part of a push to bring products which span “every aspect of our lives”.
