Kanye West grumbled to his wife, Bianca Censori, that she was "making a scene" during her shock nudity stunt at the 2025 Grammys - according to a lip reading expert. The 47-year-old rapper and his 30-year-old wife sparked fury on Sunday night when she walked the red carpet in a completely see-through minidress while wearing no underwear. The couple, who have been married since 2022, caused gasps when they arrived together - with Bianca initially wearing a large fluffy coat.

Those watching the spectacle saw Kanye seemingly whisper instructions to Bianca - who then removed her coat to show she was naked but for a see-through sheer piece of material which clearly exposed every inch of her body. The stunt has been universally slammed and provoked concerns that Bianca could be trapped in a coercive relationship. Now a lip reading expert has shone light on the words that Kanye seemingly said to Bianca as she made her way down the red carpet. It is claimed he was giving his wife instructions and encouraging her to begin the shocking stunt.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman told the Daily Mail: "Kanye said: 'Does that make sense, push that out of the way…that person right there…' He then told staff to 'push him out, there...', wanting the cameras to get an unobstructed view. Fellow lip reader Nicola Hickling then claimed that the Jesus Walks singer complained to his wife, saying: "You're making a scene now." With a nod of her head, Kanye then allegedly went on: "Make a scene, I'll say it'll make so much sense.".

Kanye is then believed to have instructed: "Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you" - with Bianca then replying: "Alright, let's go." The new insights come after body language expert Judi James already told the publication in an earlier interview that Kanye showcased signs of controlling behaviour. Analysing the scenes, she said: "Her glance up at Kanye before she removed [her outerwear] suggested a flicker of what looked like nerves.

"It looked like nervousness made her break her own posing rule by laughing at one point." Judi suggested Bianca's expression changed to “one that suppressed fear” after making the “ultimate, attention-seeking statement by baring it all.”. Viewing the footage closely, Judi went on to suggest Bianca experienced a “shift in emotional state,” explaining, “Her legs crossed, and the way she placed her hands uncharacteristically awkwardly on her hips hinted at some last-minute anxiety.".

As for the body language oh her husband, Judi recorded his “moody expression showed barely a flicker of change” during the outrageous stunt. While Kanye and Bianca's red carpet appearance has secured plenty of headlines, it may have come at a huge cost to the rap star. Hours after the awards concluded a report suggested the singer had lost a contract worth $20 million (£16 million) to perform in Tokyo, Japan. Sources claimed Kanye had grossly misjudged Japanese sensitivities and locals had been left repulsed by his stunt - sparking speculation shareholders at the Tokyo Dome would block him from performing in the city.
