Model Katie Price has shown off the results of her new pinned back ears for the first time after jetting off to Turkey for more surgery last month. The former glamour model, 46, flew to Istanbul last month to undergo some more facial tweaks, with the star sharing updates with fans on social media. It is the sixth time she's made adjustments to her reported £10,000 facelift, with the mum-of-five getting a nose job, her ears pinned, and a 'fox-eye lift'.
The mum-of-five has now debuted her brand-new ears for the first time on social media. Katie took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday to show off a photo of her new face after she enjoyed a FaceTime call with her pal Ryan Mira, who posted a photo of their catch up on his story. Alongside the screenshot of their call, Ryan wrote: "Funny FaceTime @katieprice miss you". The screenshot showed off a glimpse of Katie's ears following her most recent surgery. Katie told her followers in mid-January was she and her boyfriend JJ Slater were jetting off to Turkey so she could get more work done on her face. She said she felt more surgery was needed on her ears, with the idea of pinning them back described in her own words as "they stuck out a bit" and also wanting some 'fox eyes' with the help of some local anaesthetic.
A source told Closer Magazine that Katie was expected to fly out to Turkey to correct her so-called 'pixie ears' after she was left unhappy with them the first time around. They said: "Katie is heading to Turkey [this month] for her first New Year's procedure: fixing her pixie ears. She thinks they need correcting after her recent facelift. She's having her ears removed, then re-stitched in place and pinned back so that they don't stick out.".
Addressing their concerns about Katie's "obsession" with surgery, the source continued: "Friends think Katie has gone too far. They feel like she's obsessed and loves the attention – and the money from the pictures – that the surgery brings in." Katie previously discussed her love for surgery in a podcast. Appearing on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day last year, she candidly told host Elizabeth: "People don't realise when you have surgery and stuff, you only see before and after, you don't see in between - when you've had it, the pain and the cleaning, the stitches out and the bed rests.
"So I would love to educate people about it. It's damaging to your body. I've had so many anaesthetics. I know I still choose to do it, but I'm older now." She went on to admit choosing her next procedure is "like going shopping, for me, which is so bad". It comes after fans have begged the former glamour model to 'stop' going under the knife and to seek help amid her recent drastic weight loss. Katie has been showing off her frail frame in recent weeks on social media and fans are becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing. Katie recently confessed that she has 'lost a lot of weight' but that she feels 'better than she ever has before'.
