When Katya Jones was paired with Wynne Evans for last year's Strictly Come Dancing, he vowed he would find a husband for his singleton partner. The opera singer – famous for the Go Compare adverts – took her to his favourite cocktail bars in his home city of Cardiff as they went in search of 'The One'.

But divorcee Ms Jones, 35, has revealed Evans failed in his mission, despite him introducing her to lots of Welsh men – and she is still on her own after splitting from her fellow Strictly professional husband Neil Jones in 2019. She told The Mail on Sunday: 'Wynne said he would find me a husband in Wales but we were too busy dancing in the end. I am certainly still single. I'm going to have to ask him about that.'.
