Summary at a Glance

Everyone loves dinosaurs, so it’s no surprise that they’ve been a big part of Lego since forever, although for the last decade many of the sets have been official Jurassic World tie-ins.

If all that’s a bit beyond your budget, or you just can’t wait, there’s already two smaller Dinosaur Fossils sets, with a T. rex Skull for £34.99 and a Triceratops Skull for £39.99.

The coffee table style instruction book includes plenty of Tyrannosaurs Rex dinosaur facts, and film trivia, to explain the details of the model and the real-life skeletons it’s based on.

The set contains 3,145 Lego pieces and will be available from the Lego website and Lego stores from March 15 for £219.99.

A new Lego-built dinosaur has been unveiled for adult fans of Jurassic Park and this one is the most anatomically correct so far – even without its skin on.
