Lily Allen, 39, revealed how she first met her husband David Harbour, 49, online, amid rumours their relationship has come to an end. The singer met Stranger Things star David on exclusive dating app Raya in 2019, and shared in the past that she didn’t have high expectations to find a partner on the app. “It was the first time I'd been on this dating app. I was scrolling through and landed on David's profile and pressed accept,” she said on The Jonathan Ross Show.
“I didn't know who he was. I thought he was just like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show because he was wearing a policeman's uniform. It was a still from Stranger Things. I'd never seen Stranger Things. I don't even know what I was looking for. It was just something to do on holiday, swiping, it's a bit of fun.”.
Lily added: “When I met him I didn’t think it was going to go anywhere. He was here filming Black Widow. He was only going to be here for a couple of months. And then it did…” After Lily and David met on Raya, the couple quickly got together and disabled their accounts. Now, though, a source claims that David rejoined the app in secret, and that Lily found evidence he’d been using Raya to meet other women.
The insider claimed that Lily had suspicions about David’s online activity, and decided to investigate whether he was back on Raya by creating her account targeted at women. "Lily was looking for women that were on Raya and cross-referencing them with women David follows on Instagram to try to figure out who he was seeing. She was doing her Wagatha thing," they said.
