Sarina Wiegman's side will be looking to defend the title they won on home soil in 2022, where they beat Germany after scoring in extra time through a strike from Chloe Kelly.

Since then, the Lionesses have missed out on a World Cup triumph to go with their Euro title, losing 1-0 to Spain in August 2023. They will be among the favourites to claim success again, alongside the likes of Spain and Germany, who will be looking to right the wrongs that saw them miss out at Wembley three years ago.

And now, it has been revealed that England will stay in Zurich for the tournament, which will be held in Switzerland, while training at the nearby Sportanlage Au facility. The training centre is the home of FC Glattbrugg in the city of Opfikon, and the side will not move their base at any point in the tournament.

There are 173 rooms in total, with the hotel website writing: 'Our single and double rooms come in various sizes and with different furnishings, but they all are unique for their individual modern interior and tasteful luxury.
