Luka Doncic bought a $15million home in Dallas days before he was shockingly traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night. It was also revealed by former Mavericks star Chandler Parsons that Doncic cried immediately after finding out he was shipped to Los Angeles. The after effects of one of the most blindsiding trades in NBA history are still being felt as Doncic and LeBron James are now teammates in Hollywood.

Doncic had spent his entire NBA career with the Mavericks after a draft-night trade sent his rights from Atlanta to Dallas. He's a five-time All-Star and has consistently been one of the best players in the NBA since his United States arrival from Real Madrid. 'I find it extremely disrespectful, I find it horrific bad business for you just to go and do this. And I'm also not buying that [head coach Jason] Kidd just didn't know,' Parsons said on FanDuelTV's 'Run It Back'.

It was even more shocking when it was revealed it was the Mavericks who approached the Lakers about acquiring Doncic. The Lakers have three home games between now and the break, with Doncic's debut to likely be one of those.
