Luke Littler has shared photos enjoying some downtime after triumphing at the World Darts Championship earlier this month. After becoming an overnight sensation by reaching the final in his maiden appearance in the competition, the 17-year-old returned to the Alexandra Palace this year intent on going one better.

Against darting legend Michael van Gerwen earlier this month Littler produced a dominant performance to secure a historic victory and walk away with £500,000 in prize money. The triumph marked the culmination of a whirlwind 12 months that saw him collect more than £1million in total prize money, putting him second behind only Luke Humphries in the PDC's Order of Merit.

With less than a week until his return to the Oche to defend his Bahrain Darts Masters title, Littler took to social media to share the spoils of his success. In a post to his Instagram story, the avid Manchester United fan revealed he had been sent a bumper pack of the official Premier League sticker collection from Panini.
