LUKE LITTLER has broken his silence after being eliminated from the Bahrain Darts Masters. The PDC Darts World champion was dumped out of the competition at the quarter-final stage thanks to a stunning display from Gerwyn Price. Welsh wizard Price thrashed the teenager 6-2 to advance to the next round of the tournament.
And Littler took to social media late on Friday night to reflect on his exit and give the former world champion his flowers. He wrote: "Not my night but great game @gerwynpriceiceman180. "Heading home for a few days then looking forward to the Dutch Darts Masters.".
Price couldn't build on the momentum he gained by beating Littler, losing the final to Stephen Bunting. Littler became the youngest-ever winner of the World Championships earlier month with a thrashing of Michael van Gerwen. And the 17-year-old hopes to end 2025 with more silverware, as well as the title of World No.1.
'The Nuke' told Sky Sports: "When you're playing so good, you can feel the nine coming. Here is all the prize money Luke Littler has won so far after being crowned 2025 PDC World Darts Championship winner:. World Championship 2025 - £500,000. World Championship 2024 - £200,000.
