Major broadcasting change as controversial ex-England boss joins ITV panel

EDDIE JONES will be part of ITV's coverage of the Six Nations. Jones was relieved of his duties as Red Roses boss in December 2022 following seven years in charge of the team. The Aussie - who guided England to three Six Nations titles - was replaced at the Twickenham helm by Steve Borthwick.
And he'll pass judgement on his struggling replacement's troops for the majority of the tournament. The 64-year-old will be a pundit for four of England's five matches in the competition, which gets underway at the end of the month. He'll gives his takes alongside an already star-studded ITV pundit line-up.
The broadcaster will also call on the services of former England stars Jonny Wilkinson, Maggie Alphonsi and Ireland legend Brian O’Driscoll. England had a truly dismal 2024 under Borthwick, winning only five of their 12 matches last year. Two of those wins came against Japan, who, ironically, are coached by Jones.
