The 23-year-old Welshman is currently away in Asia following the end of his contract with the Jaguars, which expired following the end of the regular season.

He is expected to make a decision on his future in the next few weeks, with Rees-Zammit even linked with a possible return to rugby. Sources suggest, however, that - as it stands - there has been little indication from the Welshman that he is ready to ditch his NFL dream.

Rees-Zammit, who made a shock switch from rugby 12 months ago, spent the season on the practice squad with Jacksonville after being released by the Kansas City Chiefs in August. He played in several preseason games for the back-to-back Super Bowl champions but failed to make a regular season appearance in the NFL.
