Manchester United are continuing to rebuff approaches from Napoli for Alejandro Garnacho but Chelsea have also made early soundings. Chelsea have added Garnacho and Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Bynoe-Gittens to a list of potential wing signings for this month or the summer, while a move for Kobbie Mainoo is still a possibility, according to Mail Sport sources.
Nothing is advanced while United maintain Garnacho is a valuable squad member and are not actively looking to sell now. As it stands, no potential suitors have met the Premier League giants' demands for the Argentina international, according to Mail Sport sources.
Napoli, though, are not thought to have officially walked away from a deal; it is believed that the player would be open to a move, with cost of a deal the stumbling block. While Antonio Conte's side - who saw Khvicha Kvaratskhelia join Paris Saint-Germain on Friday night - are interested in Garnacho, they have also been monitoring Karim Adeyemi at Borussia Dortmund and Lille's Edon Zhegrova.
Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford. Antonio Conte's Napoli side have not walked away from a deal just yet despite being rejected. Garnacho has struggled to hold down a regular place in Ruben Amorim's United team.
Marcus Rashford had been floated too, though Borussia Dortmund are believed to be favourites to land the English forward. One of the concerns that appears to afflict suitors for the United forward is thought to be the player's attitude and professionalism.
