Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez looks set to miss the rest of the Premier League season with a serious knee injury. The Argentina international exited Sunday's 2-0 home defeat by Crystal Palace on a stretcher and was visibly in a lot of pain. According to TyC Sports journalist Gaston Edul, a scan has since confirmed that Martinez has torn his anterior cruciate ligament. If that report is correct then Martinez is unlikely to be fully fit again for at least another six months, possibly longer.
