Alejandro Garnacho has reportedly expressed major doubts over where he fits into Ruben Amorim's system at Manchester United. Garnacho has largely been relegated to the bench by Amorim, whose 3-4-3 system does not utilise traditional wingers. Amorim has favoured Bruno Fernandes and Amad over Garnacho and even axed him from the squad for the Manchester derby last month.

As a result, Garnacho has been attracting interest from the likes of Chelsea and Napoli, with the Serie A side having bids rejected by United as they look to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following his move to Paris Saint-Germain. According to a report from talkSPORT, Garnacho is 'reluctantly coming around' to the prospect of leaving Old Trafford this month due to concerns over his role under Amorim. The report states that the player's 'major doubts' have opened the door to a sale.

However, United are 'not actively looking to sell' the 20-year-old, but will reluctantly consider offers due to their financial situation. Amorim was recently asked about Garnacho's future and admitted he needs to put in the work in training to adapt to the new system.

" That is clear," Amorim said. "He has talent and he needs to learn to play in a different position. He needs to play better inside. He improves a lot in the recovering position when he doesn't have the ball. "But by doing that, sometimes he's not in the right place to make transitions like he was in the past. I prefer to defend and then build up with all the team to reach the final third. He's finding the best way to play in this system.
