That conversation took place with Amorim the next morning and while the United boss said there is “not an issue”, Garnacho will pay for a meal for his team-mates as a result of his reaction.
Garnacho was dropped from United’s matchday squad to face Manchester City in December alongside Marcus Rashford, who remained frozen out by Amorim until his loan move to Aston Villa.
The United boss opted to swiftly bring Garnacho back into the fold, though, and Amorim made it clear that he ready to “move on” from this latest incident as well.
Alejandro Garnacho will buy dinner for the Manchester United squad after walking straight down the tunnel during his side’s win over Ipswich.
Garnacho did not emerge alongside his team-mates after half-time and Amorim said after the match that he would speak to the 20-year-old about the incident.
