Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has been enjoying Christmas dinner with his family amid uncertainty over his future. Rashford posted a picture on Instagram of himself and his family accompanied by the caption: 'Family time - Happy Christmas everyone'.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from United after falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim. Amorim, who started work as United boss in November, has left Rashford out of his last three matchday squads - against Manchester City, Tottenham and Bournemouth.
In a bombshell interview last week Rashford, who has spent his entire career to date at United, indicated that he is ready for a new challenge. That led to suggestions from Amorim that it wasn't Rashford's decision to give the interview as he questioned the player's entourage.
Marcus Rashford enjoyed Christmas dinner with his family amid uncertainty over his future. The Man United star has been left out of the last three matchday squads by Ruben Amorim. Amorim suggested Rashford was wrongly advised by his entourage about wanting to leave.
Amorim said: ‘It is a hard situation. I understand that these players have a lot of people around them, and they sometimes make choices that are not the first idea from the player. I understand, I can separate things. ‘I am always here to help Marcus, as any other player. They have to do what they have to do. They chose to do the interview because it’s not just Marcus. I understand that.’.
