Marcus Rashford has reportedly stepped up his efforts to leave Man United in January after holding talks with a leading sports agency. Prior to their loss against Newcastle, Rashford was left out of United's squad for four games by Ruben Amorim, sparking much debate about the forward's future.

The United forward then revealed in an interview that he's 'ready for a new challenge' and now it's been reported that he's taken the first steps trying to leave United. According to The Sun, Rashford has held talks with leading sports agency Stellar in the hope of landing a move away from Old Trafford this month.

The same agency helped land Gareth Bale's stunning £86million move from Tottenham to Real Madrid back in 2013. The United star is currently represented by brother Dwaine Maynard but the outlet claim he's willing to join Stellar to help push through a move.

Marcus Rashford has reportedly stepped up his efforts to leave Man United in January after holding talks with a leading sports agency. Rashford was left out of United's squad for four games by Ruben Amorim in recent weeks. Rashford's last appearance for United was on December 12 when he played 56 minutes against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.

He was left out of the squad for games against Manchester City, Tottenham, Bournemouth and Wolves. Rashford, who has spent his entire career at United, indicated that he wanted a fresh challenge after being left out. Speaking to journalist Henry Winter, Rashford said: 'For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.
