SINGER Max George has shared a brand new update in his health recovery process after being admitted to hospital for major surgery. The Wanted popstar, 36, left fans shaken earlier this month when he was rushed to hospital after experiencing issues with his heart.

The as-yet undiagnosed heart condition caused Max to endure a lengthy hospital stay before he was able to be released on Christmas Day. In a new update, this evening Max confirmed he had been able to take his first steps outside after returning home from his hospital stay.

He shared a snap of him enjoying a dog walk but revealed he was consistently checking up on his health during the nighttime stroll. Max uploaded another picture of his Apple Watch tracking his current heart rate with the photo revealing it was beating at 85bpm.

Captioning the new uploads, the Barcelona singer said: "Back on the streets…. "Felt great to have my first few steps outside for a while.. especially with my beautiful boy.". His followers were also quick to share their support for the star amid the new update.

One of his fans said: "So glad to see your getting back on track and back to your usual self . Remember to take it easy and we are all here behind you.". Another added: "So happy to see you like this! keep strong and take care.". A third wrote: "We’re ever so happy that you’re getting better and we’re all extremely proud of you Max!!!".
