MAYA Jama’s new love interest Ruben Dias has shared a loved up snap of them together, after secretly dating for a month. The Love Island host met the defender in September at the MTV Europe Music Awards, two months after announcing her split from rapper Stormzy.

Maya, 30, posed on the red carpet wearing the black gown — similar to the one made famous by Liz in 1994 — at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena. She and Ruben, 27, were spotted for the first time together in public on New Year’s Eve, when they shared a romantic dinner.

And now, Ruben has appeared to confirm their romance after posting a photo of them together from behind while on holiday. Watching the sunset, Ruben can be seen in a hoody and trousers while wrapping his arm around a female wearing a camouflaged skirt and trainers.

The pair cosy up to one another as they look out to sea, with pals in front of them. Ruben captioned the carousel of images: “Happy new years everyone and happy 30th to the one & only @ivandias.”. The football star added a heart emoji to his post. One of the images included in Ruben's photo dump included an outdoor cinema.

Maya also shared her own photo of a very similar looking outdoor area with cosy seating in front of a swimming pool, in another hint at the pair's romance. After rumours swirled about their romance, a source said: “Maya and Ruben swapped details at the EMAs and have chatted since, but things went up a gear in early December.
