Meghan Markle fans spot 'hidden response' to divorce rumours in new video

Meghan Markle delighted fans by posting a candid new video on her newly launched Instagram feed. The Duchess of Sussex shared a selfie-style video where she told her followers about her plan to surprise a teenage girl who along with her family had lost their home and everything inside it during the terrifying LA wildfires. Meghan then explained how the 15-year-old had lost her prized Billie Eilish T-shirt in the fire and how she'd recruited celeb pals Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo to source another T-shirt to send to the youngster.
During the video, Meghan talked about how she first met the young girl and her mum when she and Prince Harry visited the badly-hit area of Altadena. Talking about the visit, she used the phrase "my husband and I". And some believed the use of the phrase was a direct response after cruel rumours about her and Harry's relationship. One fan wrote on X: "I just know that 'my husband and I' is eating away at you trolls and haters." While another added: "You nailed it sis, my husband and I are the best words ever.".
In recent months, Harry and Meghan have been making more and more separate public appearances as they pursue different careers paths. In December, when Harry appeared at the New York Times DealBook Summit, he was asked about the speculation surrounding him and his wife. Laughing it off he said: "Apparently, we've bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it's just like, what?".
Remarking that "it's hard to keep up with, but that's why you just sort of ignore it", Harry went on to joke that he felt sorry for the trolls commenting on the state of his marriage, as their "hopes are just built and built, and it doesn't happen". Meanwhile, in the video, Meghan opens a package to reveal singer Billie Eilish had sent a signed a box full of merchandise for the 15-year-old. "Let's keep supporting those affected by the California wildfires," the duchess captioned the video. Thanks to everyone who made this possible but most importantly, thank you to our first responders who are the community's real heroes.".
Last month, Meghan and Harry visited a meal distribution site for people affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. The pair were filmed by local news outlet Fox 11 on Friday and were seen hugging people and speaking to emergency crews at the Pasadena Community Centre in Los Angeles. The couple also met Victor Gordo, mayor of Pasadena, and in the footage, they are seen speaking to World Central Kitchen founder, chef Jose Andres.
