Meghan Markle fans spot Instagram blunder 'that suggests she has divorced Prince Harry'

Fans of Meghan Markle fans have pointed out an awkward blunder with her new social media title that accidentally implies she has separated from Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex returned to the spotlight with her own solo Instagram account, which has already gained almost 400,000 followers at the time of writing. She returned with the simple handle, 'meghan', and one singular post, a video reel.
The account has yet to be verified with a blue tick but it's believed the account is legitimate. Not only that, the video shared by Meghan on New Year's Day was filmed by her husband Harry - a sure indication the couple are still very much loved-up. But that didn't stop die hard fans of royal protocol spotting Meghan seemingly using a title only royal divorcees use.
The video showed the royal and former actress running along the beach before she bends over to write '2025' in the wet sand. The video was reportedly filmed by her husband Prince Harry amid rumours about the state of relationship. The royal duo have been appearing at events alone and Prince Harry was even forced to address the rumours by laughing it off.
A pal previously claimed that they have a 'functional and healthy relationship' but are simply busy with work. And now, after Meghan's return to social media, fans pointed out that her profile first only stated her first name before it was changed to 'Meghan, Duchess of Sussex'.
A royal fanpage on X/ Twitter questioned whether the couple separated after noticing the so-called blunder. They wrote along with screenshots of Meghan's profile before and after it was changed: "Meghan’s Instagram has already had an update, changing her name in the profile from “Meghan” to “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.”.
