Meghan Markle's mates who didn't make the cut in her new trailer: Serena Williams and ex-BFF Jessica Mulroney were absent from new Instagram reel - as well as many of her jam recipients

The Duchess of Sussex's trailer for her upcoming Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, was filled with celebrity pals - from American actress Mindy Kaling to her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. Unveiled yesterday on Meghan Markle's newly launched Instagram account, the teaser also included the mother-of-two's 'fellow polo wife', Delfina Blaquier, Tracy Robbins, husband of Paramount boss Brian Robbins, and makeup artist Daniel Martin.
But despite the Duchess being supported by several of her closest friends, there were a few notable exceptions - including George and Amal Clooney, who attended Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan in 2018 in Windsor. Princess Eugenie, who is thought to be the closest royal to the Montecito couple following their rift with The Firm and has visited the pair in the States, also didn't feature in the trailer.
The King's niece was one of the only royals to appear in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan. Unsurprisingly, Canadian socialite and stylist Jessica Mulroney, who was famously once the best friend of Meghan, was nowhere to be seen in the clip.
Despite 'Jess' reportedly playing an 'influential' role in Megxit, the Duchess distanced herself from the mother-of-three after she became embroiled in a race row in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020. Other stars absent from the footage - despite usually being some of the first to support the mother-of-two in her endeavours - included Serena Williams, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry.
