Pregnant Michelle Keegan and her husband Mark Wright are said to have been eyed up for a new TV project. The couple, both 37, announced last month that they are expecting a baby together. They teased in a joint post just after Christmas that this year is "going to be a special one" for them, alongside a photo showcasing her baby bump.
Michelle has since returned to work on Sky's comedy-drama Brassic following the festive break. She was seen on the set of the acclaimed show recently amid production of its seventh series, ahead of welcoming the new arrival. It has now been reported that she could be approached to appear in a docuseries with Heart Radio host Mark. There's speculation that the couple are being considered for a fly-on-the-wall show about their "journey into parenthood".
Speaking to the Sun, a source said that former Coronation Street cast member Michelle and radio host Mark are "such a TV power couple," adding that becoming parents is "huge" for them. They went on to claim that proposals for the potential docuseries are being written up at the moment.
The source continued by saying: "A couple of production companies are writing up propositions to see if they'd let in cameras to follow them becoming parents." They then added: "These fly-on-the-wall shows are huge on ITV, as well as streamers like Prime, and there is a huge audience that would love an insight into Michelle and Mark's world.".
