Milwaukee Brewers icon and baseball hall of famer Bob Uecker has died at the age of 90. Uecker was a backup catcher turned Hollywood star, who became the legendary radio voice of the Brewers for over 50 years. He played six seasons in the Major Leagues with the Braves, Cardinals and Phillies before enduring a failed stint as a Brewers scout.

Uecker then joined the Brewers radio team in 1971 and his quick wit and personality on the microphone propelled him to numerous accolades in the broadcasting world. Labeled 'Mr Baseball' by Tonight Show host Johnny Carson, Uecker became a regular on late-night TV and starred in a number of beloved Miller Lite commercials.
