MARK SELBY pretended to hit Mark Allen with his cue during his Masters defeat. The pair met in the quarter-final at Ally Pally. Allen came out on top after a gruelling battle with the four-time world champion. He enjoyed some luck along the way and after a fortuitous run of shots he shook his head at his opponent and shrugged his shoulders.
Allen allowed himself a little wry smile and Selby also started to laugh and bent over in frustration as he approached the table. The shot before luckily left the black in a safe position, so Selby turned away and jokingly pretended to hit Allen with his cue.
Allen went on to win the match 6-2 and he accepted he had a big slice of luck along the way. He said post-match: "I felt I played better than Mark [Selby], but the luck definitely helped me. "Even within that [sixth frame] I played a few bad ones and got away it. There were two frames I really had no right to win. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS. SNOOKER's Class of '92 are fading away - with two English superstars ready to forge a new era.
