Footage showed the ball ricocheting off the wall, before bouncing back and striking Williams in the face. The Welsh snooker star was seen immediately clutching his face in pain, before staggering away to take a seat in shock. Williams was checked on by a friend, while several on social media were quick to note his son had prepared another ball for a shot, before checking on his dad's welfare. 'This is what happens when you try and give your boy some tips at, ffs, my jaw is killing,' Williams wrote. He appeared to make light of the incident by posting four laughing emojis on the post. Williams later responded to a fan's concern, posting 'Lucky it wasn't my eye. Nice lump but fine.'.
