The woman said she isn't sure if the mum is dyslexic and has difficulty with spelling, but said she still believes the mum should have gone with the standard spelling of her son's name if that was the case, as it would avoid confusion for other people who would be able to consistently spell it correctly.
One of the first decisions many parents make when they choose a baby name is whether they want to go for a classic and popular name or if they want to push the boat out with something unique.
She added: "Then came a day when the parents should bring family pics, and I was completely shocked when I turned one of them over and saw that his mom wrote 'Kelyan' on the back, thinking we had spelt the name wrong the whole time.
However, when the nursery ran an event for the children in which they needed to bring family photographs into school, the woman noticed one big problem - some of the child's photos had "Keylan" written on the back, while others had a different spelling, "Kelyan".
But one mum has seemingly picked a name so unique for her child that even she struggles to remember how it should be spelt.
