Summary at a Glance

I was 18 and in Japan with the National Youth Music Theatre when I found out I’d got a place at Rada and only had two weeks on my return to find somewhere to live… so that was set up by Rada’s legendary bursar Pat Myers as a temporary measure until I found my feet in London.

I always loved talking about all the plays showing at the National Theatre and The Globe — it was a real full-circle moment filming on the Millennium Bridge by the Tate Modern for this new season of Surface, and see my former tour boat float by beneath us.

It was while living there that I first discovered Kenwood House, home to Dido Elizabeth Belle, who I would later go on to play in my first lead film role Belle.

After the first term I moved in with some third years in Highgate, which I love for its leafy, village feel and access to Hampstead Heath.

From the South Bank to the British Museum, Bond Street and some hidden spots in the City… London really is its own character in the show and I’m so excited to show it off.
