It marks the latest instalment of a concerning trend of elite athletes being targeted and Stein said the NBA sent a warning after a number of NFL stars had homes broken into.
NBA reporter Marc Stein quoted Doncic's business manager Lara Beth Seager as saying: 'No one was home at the time and thankfully Luka and his family are safe.
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce both had their Kansas City homes targeted earlier this year, along with Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
