‘Never experienced such pain’ says star, 27, as he’s forced to RETIRE after horror injury sees him lose half a testicle ICE HOCKEY player Mikko Haaparanta has retired after rupturing a TESTICLE during a match.
A puck straight to the gonads during a Finnish second division game between Tuto Hockey and IPK left Haaparanta in a world of agony.
Haaparanta was forced to have half of his testicle removed in an emergency operation, which docs won't know has been a success for several months.
He continued: "I wonder if Mestis (the Finnish second hockey league, ed.)
And an ultrasound discovered that his testicles had ruptured so badly that part of his lower intensine had slipped into his scrotum.
