Newly-single Tamzin Outhwaite has broken her silence on the infamous Strictly curse after she was paired with hunky pro Nikita Kuzmin for the BBC show's upcoming Christmas special. The actress, 54, who split from toyboy Tom Child, 33, in September, was full of praise for the buff Ukrainian and their 'great energy' together for the Viennese Waltz.

Tamzin also revealed that daughters Florence, 16 and Marnie, 12, were equally big fans had nicknamed Nikita 'Prince Charming'. She told The Mirror: 'He just has the hair and face and the body and everything. He looks like Prince Charming.'. But when asked if the pair had fallen foul of the curse she laughed: 'Of course I haven't! He's a 26-year-old man with a wonderful girlfriend.'.

Discussing her own relationship status she told the publication: 'I'm happy single. There's a lot on! Life is really busy, throwing a relationship into that is a whole other thing. Freedom fills up my cup, freedom to do as you please is a lovely thing. That makes me happy.'.
