Noel Gallagher’s daughter found out about Oasis reuniting in the most awkward way

Noel Gallagher and Liam Gallagher’s Oasis reunion was such a well-kept secret that even Noel’s daughter Anais Gallagher ‘didn’t have a clue’ about it. The brothers announced in August that they are embarking on a 2025 reunion tour, and while you may assume their nearest and dearest knew all about it, it turns out one very special person didn’t.

A close friend of Anais, 24, who Noel, 57, shares with his ex-wife Meg Mathews, has revealed she only learnt of the reunion when everyone else did. In a recent interview, Blossoms frontman, Tom Ogden, who is pals with the model and photographer, said she was staying with him and his wife when the news broke.

‘Do you know what? Noel’s daughter Anaïs was staying at mine and [his wife] Katie’s house when these new stories were breaking,’ he revealed during Radio X’s one-off show, The A to X of 2024 with Blossoms. ‘And she actually didn’t have a clue. She was texting around people she knew to find out if it was true. She got no word,’ he added.

Tom said it wasn’t until the next day, when Anais got her answer, as the Blossoms were told an ‘exciting’ promotional video would be playing after their concert at Wythenshawe Park during the August Bank Holiday Weekend. ‘When we were playing Wythenshawe the next day and Anaïs was coming to watch us, she still didn’t know. I got a phone call a couple of hours before we went on stage, from our management, saying: “We need to show a video clip after your gig. I can’t tell you what it is. But it’s very exciting”.’.
