Patrick Dorgu is expected to be at Old Trafford on Sunday after completing his £25.2million move from Lecce. The 20-year old flew into Manchester on Saturday to undergo his medical and has agreed a five-and-a-half year contract. He will become Ruben Amorim's first signing and will be in the stands for the game against Crystal Palace. Amorim identified Denmark international Dorgu as a player who can fit in as an athletic left wing-back who can also fill in at left wing or on the right hand side.
United are also adding Arsenal centre back Ayden Heaven. They had planned to offload left-back Tyrell Malacia to Benfica on loan following Dorgu's arrival but the Portuguese giants fell short on the loan fee and buy option valuation. Patrick Dorgu is expected to be at Old Trafford on Sunday when the Red Devils welcome Crystal Palace in the Premier League. The youngster becomes Ruben Amorim's first signing since he took over as United boss in November.
United and Lecce agreed a £25.2 move including add-ons earlier this week, Mail Sport revealed. Malacia, who has said his goodbyes to teammates at United's Carrington training ground on Saturday, will now consider other options as he looks for more regular game time. United also want to add a forward as they look to finalise Marcus Rashford's loan to Aston Villa. Villa winger Leon Bailey, Bayern Munich's Mathys Tel and Christopher Nkunku of Chelsea are among the players under consideration.
