Pregnant Michelle Keegan says she 'can't wait' to finally spend a summer at home after years of working abroad - as she plans a 'good chunk of time' away from her job to focus on motherhood

Pregnant Michelle Keegan has revealed she's looking forward to finally spending a summer at home after years of working abroad. The actress, 37, revealed in December she's expecting her first child with former TOWIE star husband Mark Wright, 38. And in a new interview with Grazia, Michelle opened up on her husband's support of her long-distance working, while also revealing plans to take a 'chunk of time' from her work commitments to focus on motherhood.

Since marrying in 2015, the couple have had periods apart due to filming projects, with Mark spending over a year in LA as the host of celebrity show Extra. While Michelle has previously worked on projects in South Africa, Malaysia and Australia for shows including Ten Pound Poms and Our Girl. She told the publication: 'I'm going to take a good chunk of time off to enjoy being a mum. I'm never normally at home in the summer, I've always been away working, so I can't wait.'.
