Prince William was ever the supportive husband on Tuesday evening as he supported his wife Kate Middleton through her carol concert comeback. The Prince of Wales, 42, calmly delivered a Bible reading during the service, impeccably taking the spotlight.
Wearing a smart navy suit and donning his fan-favourite beard, William brought a sense of composure and deep thought to Kate's Together At Christmas service at London's Westminster Abbey. William read from Isaiah chapter nine in the Bible, telling crowds: 'The people who have walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who have walked in a land of deep darkness, on them light has shined.'.
Despite any stress that may have come with such a significant return to engagements following his wife's preventative chemotherapy treatment for cancer, William read clearly and succinctly. The audience was certainly captivated by his every word, as a heavy silence fell across the Abbey, with only William's powerful words being listened to.
Playing such an important role in the service made for a sweet supportive gesture towards his wife Kate, also 42 - as he took the spotlight for the minutes-long segment. The Princess of Wales returned to screens on Tuesday night to host her annual Together At Christmas carol concert after her toughest year yet.
