Real Madrid: Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham named in squad for Man City clash but quintet miss out Real Madrid have suffered yet another injury blow ahead of their Champions League clash against Manchester City.
A Real Madrid statement reads: “Following tests carried out on Lucas Vazquez today by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in his left hamstring, meaning he will not be in the squad to travel to Manchester.
With that said, Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Thibaut Courtois and Rodrygo have been named in a 23-man squad for the trip to England.
Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba have since joined Carvajal and Militao on the sidelines and have not recovered in time for the Man City clash.
Furthermore, Lucas Vazquez has been ruled out after sustaining a hamstring injury in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid.
