Ruben Amorim reveals new timeline for Mason Mount injury after Manchester United setback Ruben Amorim has given a new timeline for how long it will take Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount to recover from his latest injury setback.
Mount was substituted just 14 minutes into Sunday’s 2-1 derby victory over Manchester City after sustaining a fresh muscle issue.
The 25-year-old has had rotten luck with injuries since joining United from boyhood club Chelsea in July 2023, including hamstring, calf and pelvic problems.
When asked how long Mount will be out for, Amorim replied: “Several weeks.
What I can do is to help Mase to teach him how to play our game when he is recovering, try to use that time for him to think about different things.
