Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman were among the A-list stars who were snubbed out of Screen Actors Guild Awards 2025 nominations. Angelina, 49, and Nicole, 57, were noticeably left off of the list of finalists for the coveted SAG Award given by their peers as nominations were announced on Wednesday morning.
They were not the only stars who failed to be recognized by the American labor union of thespians as Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Sebastian Stan, Kate Winslet, and Stanley Tucci all didn't make the cut. Both Angelina and Nicole had been nominated for Golden Globes Awards during Sunday's ceremony as they were both beat out by Brazilian actress Fernanda Torres in the Best Actress in a drama Film category for her effort in I'm Still Here.
Angelina was the lead actress in Maria which is centered around the world's greatest opera singer Maria Callas during the last days of her life in the 1970s as she confronts her identity and life. Meanwhile Nicole Kidman starred in Babygirl where she portrayed a high-powered CEO that puts her career and family on the line when she begins a torrid affair with her much-younger intern.
Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman were among the A-list stars who were snubbed out of Screen Actors Guild Awards 2025 nominations. Meanwhile, the live broadcast where the nominations for the 31st annual event were to be read out loud was canceled to the rapidly-moving Los Angeles fires and instead SAG-AFTRA shared the nominations online via press release.
