Jason Oppenheim of Selling Sunset fame has made an impressive pledge to those who may have lost their homes in the LA wildfires . The 47-year-old real estate agent, who stars alongside his brother in the Netflix hit, reached out to displaced Los Angelinos in an Instagram video shared yesterday, in which he promised free assistance.
Thousands of homes across Los Angeles have been destroyed by the devastating wildfires, including those owned by Paris Hilton, Harrison Ford and Billy Crystal. In response, Jason announced that his real estate brokerage The Oppenheim Group would offer its services for free. In a candid clip, the TV star told his legions of followers: “I woke up this morning to a lot of friends and clients reaching out because they lost their homes the last couple of days, and they need help with places to live now; their families are displaced.
“As real estate agents, we obviously have an obligation to help them find a place even when it's going to be difficult, with thousands of people looking for places and not nearly as many houses available.”. He went on: “But the Oppenheim group is offering to represent anybody for free or we will credit you back any commission paid if you’ve lost your house and you’re now displaced. We will help you find a place or do our best to help you find a place to rent.”.
