In a YouTube video, RHS ambassador Jamie Butterworth shared his top tips for caring for peace lilies, including a crucial piece of advice for when the flowers start to fade.
Jamie advised on plant care, saying: "Cut back the faded flowers once they've started to do their thing, as the more you deadhead, the more flowers you'll receive.".
He also highlighted the importance of the plant's environment at home, noting that peace lilies flourish in warmth, ideally temperatures of 21C and above.
Peace lilies, with their glossy dark leaves and beautiful white flowers, are a popular choice among houseplant enthusiasts.
With spring approaching, Jamie emphasised the need for proper peace lily maintenance, including repotting, which is beneficial at this time of year.
