In a new study by dating app The League, thousands of singles confirmed which sector gets their bid for the sexiest career, and it was doctors, nurses and therapists who came out on top.

Nearly a third (29%) of the 2,000 men and women surveyed said that healthcare is the sexiest profession, with 26% specifically wanting a hot doctor.

Of course, swooning over the McDreamy typeis nothing new, with George Clooney’s Dr Douglas Ross perhaps being the OG, first appearing on ER in 1994.
