Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) finally confessed the truth about Martin Fowler’s (James Bye) death in recent EastEnders scenes, unaware that someone was listening in.
In tonight’s episode, she joined Ruby, Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) and Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) in planning Martin’s funeral, and as the tensions between them rose, Stacey quickly grew overwhelmed.
As Lily burst in, insisting that she knew all along Martin had still loved her mum, Stacey urged her to keep what she’d heard to herself, not wanting to hurt Ruby or Roman.

She even went as far as to tell Ruby that she was the last person Martin talked about before he died, in the hope of offering her and son Roman some comfort.
