Stephen A. Smith has fired back at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after she warned her social media followers that the TikTok ban 'is 21st century fascism' on the eve of Donald Trump's inauguration. The leftist Congresswoman took to her Instagram story on Sunday to discuss the nationwide TikTok ban - and its later restoration - with her followers the day before the former president was sworn into the White House for a second time.
But she also went on to explain what she believed the ban - and the Republican party - really means for America's future. 'Well, we are on the eve of an authoritarian administration' she said. 'This is what 21st century fascism is starting to look like.
'Republicans really model themselves after Orban's Hungary and so you can look to see how Viktor Orban runs Hungary to get a taste of how they will try to govern and control media and companies in the United States.'. ESPN star Smith, who has become increasingly vocal around politics since Trump's election win back in November, hit back at AOC and said her comments are exactly why the Democrats lost.
Stephen A. Smith has fired back at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's latest Donald Trump criticism. AOC said the TikTok ban 'is 21st century fascism' on the eve of Trump's inauguration. Smith played AOC's comments on his YouTube show and explained: 'While we're looking to see what Trump does, we already know what the left has done which is why we've tired of hearing stuff like this from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
