Stephen A. Smith has issued a staunch defense of his longtime friend Skip Bayless and attempted to shed light on the man behind a series of worrying allegations in a bombshell Fox Sports lawsuit. Bayless, Joy Taylor, network executive Charlie Dixon and the Fox Corporation were named in a lawsuit filed in LA, much of which focuses on allegations of sexual harassment, sexual battery, negligent supervision, retaliation, and other hostile workplace issues between 2012 and 2024.
In the 42-page document, Bayless is accused of offering ex-FS1 hairstylist Noushin Faraji, who filed the suit, $1.5million for sex. Speaking on his self-titled The Stephen A. Smith Show on Monday night, Smith made a concerted effort not to talk about the matter but was keen to provide insight on Bayless as a person.
'Here's what I would tell you. I've known Skip for [25 years], I can't imagine it,' Smith said in the segment, adding he doesn't think he would be 'capable of that'. 'Especially when they brought up "$1.5m",' he added. 'The Skip Bayless I know has a hard time giving away $15. He's one of the cheapest people I know.
'But that doesn't mean I have any inside knowledge about any of this,' Smith continued. 'I don't and I'm not going to get involved.'. Stephen A.
