Taylor Swift has lost two more high-profile members of her Super Bowl squad to the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of this weekend's showpiece in New Orleans. The pop megastar is set to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs at Caesars Superdome, where they will bid to become the first team in history to win three straight Super Bowls. She was also in attendance when the Chiefs retained their crown last season, with a number of A-list friends joining her on the night at Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium.
Two of those celebrity pals were Hollywood star Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh - but this season the couple find themselves in the opposite corner to Swift. Miles and Keleigh, who are both Eagles supporters, will not be watching this year's Super Bowl with Taylor as they are instead sitting in and amongst the Philly faithful. 'Thankfully, when I was at the Chiefs' last Super Bowl, they weren't playing the Eagles,' Teller told People before adding, 'I'm going to be in a sea of green.'.
Taylor Swift has lost two more high-profile members of her Super Bowl squad to the Eagles. Hollywood star Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh are rooting for Philadelphia instead this year. Keleigh, who is close friends with Taylor, is originally from Orange County in California, which is almost 3,000 miles away from Philadelphia. Yet eight years after they began dating, Teller says his wife had no choice but to become a fully-fledged Philly sports fan.
'She's a diehard Birds fan,' the actor said despite pointing out that they have 'friends' on the opposing team. 'But no, she's an Eagles fan, baby,' he added about Keleigh. 'She might be a Southern California girl, but you marry into Philadelphia sports and that is it.'. Swift will have a number of friends rooting against Travis and the Chiefs at this weekend's Super Bowl. Her longtime BFF Gigi Hadid will be cheering for the Eagles if she attends the game as expected with boyfriend Bradley Cooper, who is a die-hard Philadelphia fan.
Travis' brother Jason and his wife Kylie, who were in Taylor's private suite for last season's Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers, are also heading to New Orleans to get behind their beloved Philly. Keleigh, who is close friends with Taylor, and her husband sat with the popstar last year. But Miles, pictured at the 2024 Super Bowl, says both of them are die-hard Eagles supporters. 'I will root for the Eagles of course because I will always be an Eagle first and foremost,' Jason, who called time on his legendary career with Philadelphia and retired last year, said on a recent episode of his and Travis' New Heights podcast.
'I will still root for Travis to have a good game because he's my brother,' he added. 'But I will definitely be cheering on the Eagles in this scenario.'. An annoyed Travis could be heard grumbling in the background, branding Jason's decision 'bulls***', before bitterly adding: 'Well good luck to your Eagles.'. Kylie, meanwhile, said on her Not Gonna Lie podcast: 'It's time to get honest about the Birds. This time when the Eagles play the Chiefs, it's a little bit different because my husband is retired.
'That being said, I am so happy and proud of Travis and the Chiefs' accomplishments. 'I think that the opportunity to play for such a historic milestone is incredible to be able to potentially witness. Swift's BFF Gigi Hadid is also set to cheer on the Eagles with her boyfriend Bradley Cooper. Travis Kelce's brother Jason and his wife Kylie supported the Chiefs with Swift last year. But Kylie, pictured with Taylor at Allegiant Stadium, is also an Eagles fan just like her husband.
'Travis has been there for his entire career. He has worked so hard and put in so much time that I am truly, as always, cheering Travis on. And I love him. 'He’s my family, so I will always cheer on Travis’s accomplishments and hopefully successes.'. Nevertheless, she then added: 'I was raised to bleed green. I have friends who are still associated with the team. 'I have a close relationship with a lot of people in the Eagles organization. I get to live in the Philadelphia community and will also be cheering for the success of those people.'.
