TESCO shoppers are rushing to buy a Baileys treat scanning for just 45p. With Christmas over, retailers often slash the price of festive treats to shift stock. And Tesco has done just that, slashing the price of its Baileys mini delights chocolates from £2.50 to just 45p.

The treat comes with milk chocolate truffles and is filled with a Bailey's cream centre. Writing in the Bargain Lovers Facebook Page, one happy customer shared the news about the deal. They said: "They were from my local Tesco; they are available at other Tesco stores but are fast running out.".

Others were quick to chime in and share how delicious the snack is, with one writing: "Got some for Xmas! They are amazing.". But for those keen to check out the bargain, you will have to shop the deal in-store as it does not appear to be available online.

It may also be worth ringing your local branch ahead of your next visit to avoid disappointment as the deal may not allow you to shop at your local branch. You can find your nearest Tesco by using the store locator tool on the supermarket's website. And it's not the only Christmas chocolate Tesco has reduced.

Tesco has done just that, slashing the price of its 360g Bounty Gift Box from £7 to £3.50. The coconut-flavoured chocolate is featured in the iconic Celebrations tubs, and Mars has also branched out to sell single boxes of the chocolate. But some shoppers were unimpressed with the controversial snack, with one writing on social media that it should be given away "for free".
