It's the gripping murder-mystery show that always takes the UK by storm. But fans think they might have uncovered a fatal flaw in The Traitors - and the strategy used by the Faithful against their enemy. The BBC show stars a group of ordinary Brits who are split into two groups - the Faithful and the Traitors - upon arrival at a scenic Scottish castle.
It is the job of the Traitors to 'murder' as many of the Faithful as possible, while those who are innocent are tasked with tracking down the Traitors in their ranks. One fan of the show, Dan Harry, has now shared a compelling theory on why he thinks the Faithful might be falling behind this season.
As of last night's episode, two Traitors have been found, while around half the Faithful have been kicked out of the castle. Dan thinks there's been a significant flaw in their strategy - and they should have been keeping the most obvious Traitors in the game.
He told TikTok: 'We've seen that whenever a Traitor gets banished at the round table, the remaining Traitors then get the chance to recruit another Traitor - or... if you're the last Traitor, then you have to recruit. One fan of the show, Dan Harry, posted compelling a theory on his TikTok as to why he thinks the Faithful might be falling behind this season so far.
'Basically, what that means is, up until the final of the show, there's always going to be at least two traitors. 'So for the first like 11 episodes of the show there's guaranteed at least two Traitors.'. Dan adds: 'Does it really matter as a Faithful if you get a Traitor out?.
